Common questions
Answers to the questions we're asked most often. Have something else in mind? Just get in touch.
Is Willow Park licensed for civil ceremonies?
Yes — the Grand Hall, Orangery and walled garden are all fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships.
How many guests can you accommodate?
The Grand Hall seats up to 140 for a wedding breakfast, with space for 200 for evening receptions. Smaller, more intimate weddings are equally welcome.
Is there accommodation on-site?
Yes, we have 12 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms including a bridal suite. Exclusive use of the estate includes all bedrooms the night of your event.
Can we bring our own caterer?
We work exclusively with our in-house catering team and a short list of trusted partner caterers. This ensures consistent quality. We're happy to accommodate all dietary needs.
Is there a corkage fee?
We don't offer BYO as standard. Wines and champagnes can be selected from our curated list. Bespoke arrangements can be discussed for special bottles.
Do you allow fireworks or sparklers?
Fireworks by professional licensed operators are permitted until 10pm. Sparklers are welcome for outdoor photos.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes — the ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible with ramps, accessible toilets and reserved parking. Please tell us about any specific needs when enquiring.
Can we have the ceremony outdoors?
Absolutely. Our walled garden is licensed for outdoor ceremonies from May to September, weather permitting, with the Orangery as a beautiful backup.
What about parking?
There is free parking on-site for up to 80 cars, plus an overflow field for larger events. We can arrange shuttle buses for groups staying nearby.
Are pets welcome?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the ceremony and for photos. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Do you host corporate or private events?
Yes — from board retreats and product launches to milestone birthdays and anniversary parties. Get in touch to discuss bespoke packages.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another date within 12 months, subject to availability. Full terms are included in your booking contract.
Do you host same-sex weddings?
Of course. Willow Park proudly welcomes all couples and we're a proud supporter of marriage equality.
Can we see the venue before booking?
Yes, and we highly recommend it. We host private viewings Tuesday to Saturday by appointment. Arrange one via the enquiry form.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular summer Saturdays book 18–24 months ahead. Weekday and off-peak dates often have shorter lead times. Always worth asking — we sometimes have late availability.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Following the initial 25% deposit, the balance can be spread over monthly instalments up to 30 days before your event.
