A boutique hotel tucked into the medieval heart of York, where centuries of history meet contemporary comfort.
A boutique hotel tucked into the medieval heart of York, where centuries of history meet contemporary comfort.
The York Manor opened its doors in 2010, the culmination of a five-year restoration project to bring a crumbling Georgian townhouse back to life. The building itself dates from 1762, and remnants of its past — stone fireplaces, original mouldings, a walled garden — remain at its heart.
What began as fourteen rooms has grown thoughtfully over the years. Today we welcome guests from across the world, but our approach remains unchanged: small enough to know every guest's name, attentive enough to remember it.
We believe the best hospitality feels effortless, intuitive, and never scripted. Every guest is greeted by name, every preference remembered.
From our breakfast eggs to the art on our walls, we champion Yorkshire makers, producers and artisans wherever we can.
Our interiors are quietly confident — classic where it counts, contemporary where it matters. No trends, just good design.
