Terms & Conditions
1. Agency. York Property Co acts on behalf of sellers and landlords unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Misrepresentations Act 1967 and CPRs 2008. All descriptions, dimensions, and details on this site are given in good faith but should not be relied on as statements of fact. Prospective buyers and tenants must satisfy themselves as to their accuracy by inspection or otherwise.
3. Property Misdescriptions. Floor plans and photographs are for guidance only. Nothing on this site forms part of any contract.
4. Services and appliances. We have not tested any services, appliances or fittings. Purchasers should commission their own surveys and inspections.
5. Offers. All offers are subject to contract and without prejudice. Offers are not binding until exchange of contracts.
6. Fees. Selling fees are agreed in writing at point of instruction. Letting fees are agreed per our published schedule.
7. Regulation. We are regulated by the Property Ombudsman and comply with the RICS Rules of Conduct where applicable.
8. Tenant Fees Act 2019. We do not charge tenants any prohibited fees. Permitted payments include rent, refundable deposit (capped at 5 weeks), refundable holding deposit (capped at 1 week), and default fees where applicable.
9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
